San Diego CA, 15 September, 2015: Anokiwave, Inc., an innovative company providing highly integrated core IC solutions for mmW and AESA markets, today announced the worldwide release of the next product in its family of Quad Core IC solutions. The AWS-0102 K-Band Silicon SATCOM Rx Quad Core IC supports 4 dual polarization radiating elements with full programmable polarization flexibility. The device provides 22 dB of gain with a noise figure of 3.4 dB at 20 GHz. Additional features include system controlled gain compensation over temperature and temperature reporting via the serial control bus. Silicon technology enables very high integration of functionality thus enabling planar antenna design at K-band with reduced system size, weight, and cost.

The Anokiwave AWS-0102 is a highly integrated receiver IC in a commercial QFN style surface mount plastic package with dimensions of 7mm x 7mm x 0.9mm, with ESD protection on all pins. The IC is controlled though a 5-wire serial to parallel interface (SPI) bus.
Anokiwave offers Developer and Innovator Kits to customers for early access to the technology. The kits include boards with the AWS-0102 device, USB-SPI Interface module with drivers, and all required cables.
