The mmWave Intelligent Gain Block™ ICs functioning as a high performance, high gain phase modulator, provide a typical gain of +25 dB at Ku-band and +19 dB at Ka-band with 6 bits of phase resolution and a typical RMS phase error of 5 degrees RMS. Both ICs provide a +13 dBm output 1dB compression point, operate from a single +1.8V supply, and consume only 250 mW DC power at Ku-band and 370 mW at Ka-band. Each IC is packaged in compact 2.5 x 2.5 mm WLCSP packages for easy surface mount installation.
