Shmuel Ravid
Director, Engineering

Shmuel Ravid is a Director of Engineering at Qorvo. Prior to the Qorvo acquisition of Anokiwave, Shmuel was Anokiwave's Chief Engineer. Prior to joining Anokiwave, Shmuel served as a Senior Principal Engineering with Intel, Haifa-Israel, where he led the Mobile Wireless Group (MWG) Advanced Radio Technology (ART) team in the development of advanced radio architectures and technologies.

Prior to joining Intel Haifa, Shmuel was with M/A-COM in the U.S. During his career, Shmuel has developed a wide range of RFIC architectures and circuits for products like full RFIC transceivers for cellular and WiFi applications, PAs, and millimeter-wave radios and phase array systems. In the past 20 years Shmuel's work was focused on CMOS technologies while earlier Shmuel did a lot of work using GaAs technologies.

Shmuel Ravid earned a B.S. degree (cum laude) in Electrical Engineering from the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel, in 1978.
