Anokiwave, Inc. Appoints Shmuel Ravid as Chief Engineer
Anokiwave Inc. continues to expand its leadership team with the appointment of Shmuel Ravid as Chief Engineer.
San Diego CA, 18 January 2018: Anokiwave, Inc., an innovative company providing highly integrated IC solutions for mmW markets and Active Antenna based solutions, today announced the appointment of Shmuel Ravid as Chief Engineer. This appointment comes at a strategic time for Anokiwave with tremendous opportunities for continued growth of its business in the rapidly developing mmW 5G, SATCOM and A&D markets.
Mr. Ravid joined Anokiwave in July of 2017 and brings 40 years of industry experience during which he has held multiple leadership roles. Prior to joining Anokiwave, Shmuel served as a Senior Principal Engineer with Intel, Haifa-Israel, where he led the Mobile Wireless Group (MWG) Advanced Radio Technology (ART) team in the development of advanced radio architectures and technologies. Prior to joining Intel Haifa, Shmuel was with M/A-COM in the U.S. During his career, Shmuel has developed a wide range of RFIC architectures and circuits for products like full RFIC transceivers for cellular and WiFi applications, PAs, and millimeter-wave radios and phase array systems.

Mr. Ravid earned a B.S. degree (cum laude) in electrical engineering from the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel, in 1978.
Shmuel will be responsible for advanced product and technology leadership, organization, and execution and will be based at the company’s Billerica, MA office.
